Spiced Maple Glazed Salmon

Good morning! How is your week going? Having a busy week? No need to stress on making dinner! I have a quick and healthy dinner in less than 20 minutes.

This week the hubs is working from the main office, which means we are together for an entire week! {Could not be happier} Although it is a tease having him home, we are enjoying every minute of it. We are sharing a car this week which makes things a little tricky. Picking him up from work then sitting in 5 o’clock traffic makes me hungry. If only I could snap my finger and dinner would be ready. Thankfully I found a solution. {minus the snapping my finger}

Lexi’s Clean Kitchen is one of my favorite “go-to” websites. She has an abundant of healthy recipes and easy ones too! The hubs and I absolutely love salmon. {When buying salmon make sure it is wild versus farm raised. Wild salmon is healthier and lacks the added antibiotics.} This recipe uses “kitchen friendly” ingredients and is so easy! I omitted the salt and used brown sugar in the place of coconut sugar.



Spiced Maple Glazed SalmonΒ (adapted from here)

Ingredients you will need:

  • 2 (5-6 oz) salmon fillets
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  1. Turn oven on broil.
  2. In small boil mix dry ingredients together.
  3. Cover salmon with dry rub.
  4. Place salmon on lined baking dish for 7-8 minutes.
  5. Brush maple syrup over salmon and cook for additional 2 minutes.
